- Versatility in test profiles: the test bench can impose displacement, rotation and force profiles on a test belt. This versatility enables a wide range of test scenarios to meet various requirements.
- Accurate and high-quality measurement techniques:
- The testing machine is equipped with a high end 6DOF measuring plate to accurately measure forces and moments according to the 3 orthogonal directions.
- The actuators are equipped with redundant high-quality load cells from A-label manufacturers to ensure good precision and durability.
- X, Y and Z directional translations and Z rotations are detected by means of displacement transducers with a high accuracy of 0.01mm and 0.3°, respectively.
- Industry-specific testing:
- Radial distortion test: manual/automatic
- Slip torque test
- Axial deformation test
- Customized testing
⇒ Click here on "Test Programs" for more information about these tests.
- User-friendly interface: The machine comes with an intuitive user interface, making it accessible to a wide range of users, from engineers to quality control professionals. Pre-programmed tests can be selected in one click and parameters are simply adjusted.
- Convenient rotation: a central axis automatically rotates the belt in steps of at least 30° with no backlash. This feature allows automatic testing of multiple sections to optimize the reliability of results.
- Reliable design: Every part of the machine has been subjected to FEA analysis to optimize strength, rigidity, stability, and durability. As a result, the test bench continues to perform reliably for years to come.
- Optional Features for Enhanced Analysis:
- Footprint sensor: an optional sensor for measuring the tire contact surface. This option automatically scans, photographs and calculates the tire contact surface.
- Tire bulge sensor: an optional sensor that scans the tire profile vertically at the ground contact area to automatically measure tire bulge.
- Expert Support: Our engineers can remotely access the machine via a VPN connection, allowing them to quickly and efficiently contribute to customer-specific tests and/or questions.

Testing programs
1. Radial deformation test
- Automatic: an automatic radial deformation test is applied analogously to the manual radial deformation test to measure the degree of deformation of a tire under the influence of an applied radial load. However, the difference is that an automatic test uses the optical footprint sensor to start determining the tire footprint at a given load. This allows the system to perform all actions fully automatically without user intervention. All steps and rotations are performed at once.
2. Slip torque test
The slip torque test is specially designed for measuring the torque when the tire slips over the rim. In the first stage, a radial load is imposed, followed by a tangential load where slip monitoring takes place.
3. Axial deformation test
In an axial deformation test, the tire is loaded with a predefined nominal radial load. Then the axial load is incrementally increased. At each step, the axial deformation is measured and displayed.
4. Customized testing:
Our machine is equipped with the advanced UTMS software. This software package was carefully developed by our own engineers. This innovative software allows you to effortlessly modify pre-programmed tests or develop tests completely from scratch. This way, everything can be tailored to your specific requirements. It is even possible to use the software offline so that you can view or program tests from your desk, without access to the test bench.
